Sewing ->
You Will Need:
This is a tiny bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it makes turning closed end casings really fast. Closed end casings are like the straps on the apron dress. One end is closed.

1.Sew your casing.
2.Clip the corner, so it will square up nicely.
3.Drop a safety pin down the casing, with the clipping end down.
4.
By feel (this is the tricky part), open the safety pin and pin it through the fabric on the side of the casing, making sure that the point of the pin goes back inside and clips.
5. Begin to pull the safety pin back out. As you get a little into it, gently pull the fabric that is turning over the end of the casing as it goes inside.

6.Pull the safety pin through, sliding the fabric over itself, until the casing is fully turned.

7.Use a turning tool to make the corners square. I made mine myself, it is a dowel that I sharpened in a pencil sharpener and then sanded. Insert the point into the end of the casing and use it to gently poke the corners out. Don't let the point poke through the end though!!
8.And voila! Nicely squared corners.
Now iron the casing flat and nice!
